With immediate effect, HASCO is replacing its present portfolio of multi-zone control units with two new hot runner control units of the H1252/... series. These attractively priced devices are noted for their stable and precise temperature control and, thanks to a maximum heat current of 16A, open the door to a wide variety of applications. Two variants are available: with 6 or 12 control zones.

The hot runner control units H1252/6x16 and H1252/12x16, designed with a robust structure, operate well in a tough environments. The external cooling elements ensure ideal heat dissipation for greater reliability and longer service life of the electronics. Two segment displays per zone show all the relevant parameters and enable parallel observation of the target and actual values. The permanent visualisation of two monitoring statuses plus the reliable display of possible warnings and alarms allows straightforward appraisal of the status of the hot runner control units and systems. The intuitive operation via buttons on the front of the housing makes the setting of all the functions particularly simple.

The extensive monitoring functions of the hot runner control units are already active without any manual intervention. They work reliably in the background and inform the operator of potential problems. Among the most important monitoring functions are temperature deviation, sensor break, incorrect polarity, fuse failure, degree of operation, heating current and uncontrolled current flow.

Another decisive advantage of the new control devices is their consistently service-friendly design. The fuses for the individual heating zones are accessible from outside and can, if required, be easily replaced without opening the housing of the control unit. The structure and the wiring inside the housing also allow easy replacement of various components in the event of a defect. This ensures high machine availability.

The simple operation of the devices guarantees fast and easy adjustment of the parameters during production. The special user-friendly, programmable soft start protects the heating elements and ensures fast production start-up.

Through the consistently modular structure, HASCO can offer this new and highly efficient generation of control unit at outstanding value for money whilst setting a new technical mark.
