At CAD RETEC® 2017, plastics engineers will gather to learn about the latest innovations in product appearance, pigment performance, and color presentation for plastic applications.
This year, Milliken's own Paul Glas and Mark Treitman will be presenting an in-depth technical paper on The Effects of Gamma Irradiation on Colorants in PET and Co-polyester. The workshop will explore how Gamma exposure affects commonly used colorants during the sterilization process, as well as how this research can help companies choose the best colorants for these types of applications.
Milliken will also showcase their Keyplast dyes and pigments for PET, which include a specialized line of food contact colorants. Come by booths 108 and 110 to see the broad spectrum of colorants available and learn how Milliken’s custom migration studies and global regulatory excellence stand out. Milliken’s Keyplast food contact colorants are high alcohol content compliant, with unique color availability including novel fluorescent colorants that can’t be found anywhere else.
Participants will also have the opportunity to experience Keyplast dyes and pigments for fluorescent colorants, granite-style effects, and custom color synthesis. These beautifully resilient colorants are effective in a wide variety of plastic applications including manufactured goods, packaging, films and coatings, and more.
Find out what’s brewing with color at Milliken’s workshop and exhibition booths, and learn how the wide world of color can transform plastic applications. Finally, please join us on Monday night in the Wright Ballroom from 8pm to Midnight for an evening of food, fun and festivities, including the Milliken Virtural Golf Challenge! We look forward to seeing you there.
