Taiwan's China General Plastics Corporation, or CGPC, plans to shut its 170,000 mt/year PVC unit in Linyuan for around two to three days in June, a company source said Wednesday.

The shutdown is due to a planned power cut by its utility supplier, the source said.

The company also has a 220,000 mt/year PVC unit in Toufen. Currently, both PVC plants in Linyuan and Toufen are running at 100% capacity, the source noted.
